David Lessard has over ten years of experience in the design, management and execution of large scale innovative building projects located throughout the Middle East, Europe and the United States. Having held senior design and management positions for various internationally renowned architectural design practices Mr. Lessard has actively contributed to the realization of several award winning buildings from concept design through to construction completion; with on-site experience in hospitality, retail, residential, cultural and master planning projects.

David is currently working in Dubai with Perkins + Will on a vast array of projects of varying scale and complexity. Prior to joining P+W David held senior management roles with Rafael Vinoly Architects and Asymptote Architecture in New York. A self-proclaimed minimalist; his experience with these practices shaped a design ethos that is rigorous with a sensitivity towards contextual complexity.

Mr. Lessard received his Bachelor of Architecture with honors from the acclaimed Pratt Institute School of Architecture in New York City. His student design work has been featured in university publications and showcased in public exhibitions. He remains active in the academic community as a design critic and lecturer at various universities and professional conferences.
